CPED Partners & Sponsors

CPED has several partners and sponsors with whom we collaborate to benefit, support, and spread our efforts to strengthen the Education Doctorate.

MEP hosts CPED’s book series, The Coming of Age of the Education Doctorate, which offers books reflecting our knowledge and learning.

NCSUP extends the work of the Improvement Leadership Education and Development (iLEAD) network that was established in 2017 by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. iLEAD was a growing professional community of district-university partnerships from across the country who seeked to support local education agencies (LEAs) and institutions of higher education (IHEs) in their use of continuous improvement methods to develop leaders and educators, and address persistent problems that face districts, schools, and their communities.

ICPEL (formerly the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration) is committed to the practice and study of educational administration. Established in 1947 ICPEL continues its commitment to serve the interests and needs of professors of educational administration and practicing school leaders.

OnlineEdDPrograms.com supports practitioners in finding the right EdD program that fits their needs by offering resources and understanding about the EdD and it goals and components. Together with CPED, OnlineEdDPrograms.com has developed free, searchable database of EdD dissertations from CPED member institutions.

Friends of CPED: Additionally, CPED has had long time friendships with several educational organizations that have helped us in building our network and sharing our learning. These include: American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (AACTE), University Council of Education Administration (UCEA), AERA SIG 168: Graduate and Post-Doctoral Education across the Disciplines, and the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE)
