This year's ILA Conference will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from November 11-14. The theme of the 2009 ILA Conference is Leadership For Transformation.
This conference is an opportunity to share and learn about new research, effective leadership practices, and proven teaching methods that support Leadership For Transformation at all levels it occurs, ranging from individual leadership to global leadership. Primary consideration will be given to those proposals supporting the conference theme, Leadership For Transformation.

UCEA Convention 2009 Call for Proposals Leading for Learning: Reflecting on Innovative Practices and Partnerships Anaheim, California November 19-22, 2009
The 23rd annual convention of the University Council for Educational Administration will be held at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel in Anaheim, California. November 19-22, 2009. The purpose of the 2009 UCEA Convention is to engage participants in discussing research, policy, and practice in educational leadership and administration.
The 2009 Convention theme, "Leading for Learning: Reflecting on Innovative Practices and Partnerships," acknowledges the interdependent relationship of leadership and learning for both academics and practitioners in creating innovative leadership practices and partnerships needed for the 21st century schools. In this spirit, we invite all members of the UCEA community (1) to share their research and scholarly perspectives on this theme, (2) to offer innovative ways to think about how research and theory can inform leadership practice at national, state, and local levels, and 3) to discuss insightful ways in which educational leadership can enhance academic excellence, equity and social justice in P-20 educational contexts. Session Categories include paper sessions, symposia, conversations/dialogues, poster session, point/counterpoint, international community-building, and innovative sessions.
