To establish (1) a set of working Principles for the Professional Doctorate in Education and (2) the action steps that will be taken to test their efficacy in the contexts of preparation, practice, and policy.
A set of working principles will be a major accomplishment for Phase I of CPED. Phase II will require us to test the efficacy those principles. Our goal for the Pittsburgh Convening, if achieved, will mean that CPED has made the transition.
