Preparing for October
Information for October Convening at Duquesne
- October 21-23 in Pittsburgh
- Wed afternoon, all day Thursday, half day Friday
- Hotel: Marriott City Center (2 blocks from Duquesne)
- Plan for other work beyond CPED
- Continue to engage
- Focus on what we’re doing collectively and getting the work out
- Opportunities to hear from institutions who have completed certain phases to learn from experience instead of planning
- Bring expert P-20 practitioners from the field and elicit their opinions on some assertions
- Organize working groups online now, and get things going before October
- Keep working groups within those who have attended convening, rather than including all faculty from all institutions to maintain richness of the discussion that has occurred at convening
